Surrounded by its extensive (approx. 20 hectares) mature terraced gardens and hillside of Mediterranean maquis with beautiful sea views, the pieds dans l’eau Cala Grande estate is a wonderful venue for two to three families. There are three main residences – the Main House, the Archi and Casa Milla – which must be taken togethe and that stand some 100 metres apart and in total they sleep up to 12 guests comfortably.

The estate features a private tennis court, a beautiful infinity swimming pool, private direct access to the sea below the Main House via a path – all on land belonging to the villa; a gym with Technogym equipment and an substantial organic kitchen garden where the in-house cook sources fresh fruit and vegetables that are in season.

Direct private access to the sea

Cala Grande is a private pieds dans l’eau seaside retreat on a secluded family estate immersed in approximately 20 hectares of park and landscaped Mediterranean gardens of pines, fig and orange trees and roses. It enjoys wonderful sea views and has direct private access to the sea.

Accommodation is spread out in the park between three main houses that are all within three minutes walk of each other making it ideal for a large group of friends or for two to three families. It’s perfect for a pieds dans l’eau experience.

The three houses have, very recently, all been renovated and redecorated to the highest of standards making each one appear unique in look and style yet all of them sharing the common theme of comfort and luxury. Having such extensive grounds so close to the sea makes the villa a veritable pieds dans l’eau paradise. It would be a wonderful place to hold a family reunion party, with the full complement of the owners’ staff at hand to look after you. The Italian cook is excellent, producing wonderful traditional Tuscan meals making full use of the villa’s substantial, organic kitchen garden to source fresh seasonal produce or lighter dishes with the excellent local seafood. Indeed, so luxurious and spacious is the property with direct private access to the sea, guests can be forgiven for relaxing and unwinding without feeling the need to go anywhere else!

However, being close to Porto Santo Stefano, Cala Grande is very strategically located for discovering the delights of the Argentario peninsula and the inland Maremma Toscana should you so desire.
